TIPA Welcomes Menchukha Students

The Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) formally inducted 12 students from Menchukha, Arunachal Pradesh, under a landmark initiative to preserve and promote Himalayan cultural heritage. The students have enrolled in TIPA’s six-year training program, where they will study traditional Tibetan music, dance, opera, and other performing arts. The initiative aims to nurture young artists while fostering cultural exchange and strengthening the preservation of Himalayan traditions. The induction ceremony was attended by TIPA officials, faculty, parents, and guests, marking the beginning of a meaningful journey that will empower the students to become future ambassadors of their rich cultural heritage.
