Theatre: Chinese colonial boarding school in Tibet

The Theatre Group primarily focuses on performing plays and dramas. Its most recent production, “Colonial Boarding Schools” (Chadoe Lopta), was written and directed by Mr. Sonam Tseten, Researcher cum Tibetan Language Instructor. The play poignantly portrays the plight of Tibetan children who are separated from their families and forced to live in poorly conditioned boarding schools, where they are gradually subjected to ideological indoctrination by the CCP.
