On 1st of July, 2024, the second Cultural Immersion Summer Course commenced at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts and the event was graced by the Honourable Sikyong Penpa Tsering and Tenzin Dolkar, additional secretary of the department of Religion and Culture. Members of the institute and the participants along with their families attended the event. The Honourable Sikyong gave a speech, shedding light upon the responsibility of every Tibetan and how important it is to preserve our culture and traditions.

The closing ceremony of the second cultural immersion course held today and an officiating Sikyong Dolma Gyari graced the occasion as the chief guest. Amongst attendees were Lobsang Jinpa, Secretary, Gaden Phodrang, and Dhondul Dorjee, Secretary, Department of Religion and Culture, as special guests. The course was held from July 1-31, and thirty students from the USA, Switzerland and Germany attended.
