On the evening of September 25, 2026, the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) welcomed a delegation of international guests, hosted through the Department of Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration. The group included Georg Peter Enzweiler, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in New Delhi, and his spouse, Julia Indira Uhlig-Enzweiler. Also present were Stefan Schott, Head of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) India, and Nupur Hasija, the foundation’s Head of Programs in India. They were joined by Joel Mokhoathi, a professor at a South African university, and Professor J. Mason, along with guests from several European countries led by Thösam Rinpoche, head of Tibet House in Frankfurt, Germany.
Following a welcome address by the Director, TIPA artistes presented a program of vibrant Tibetan songs and dances. The guests received the performances with warm appreciation and evident delight.
