On 1st September 2024, artists from the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) showcased a vibrant Tibetan cultural performance to celebrate the visit of an Estonian parliamentary delegation. The delegation, led by Mr. Juku-Kalle Raid, a member of the Estonian parliament, was in attendance along with distinguished Tibetan officials, including the Honourable Sikyong (President of the Central Tibetan Administration), the Speaker, the Justice Commissioner, the Deputy Speaker, the Chairman of the Public Service Commission, and the Auditor General. The event, organized at the request of the Central Tibetan Administration, was held to honor the Estonian delegation with an official reception. The TIPA artists delivered a spectacular live performance representing the rich and diverse Tibetan culture, often referred to as the “Roof of the World.” The delegates were captivated by the performance and extended their appreciation with high praise for the artists’ efforts. The event highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and the preservation of Tibetan heritage amidst growing international ties.
